Investigations & the Legal Advisory Unit

This Unit was established on (10/8/2005 G) according to the issuance of the Administrative Decision No (11765/s) after it was presented to His Excellency the University President. Then he approved of its establishment and its job descriptions. His Highness stated that this unit should be a branch of the Legal Department to cooperate with the Deanship regarding the investigations and legal matters in the Female Students' Campus. Thus, this unit follows the Dean in terms of functional and administrative management; and it follows the legal administration technically.

Objective

This unit contributes to raising the level of management performance and promoting the legal status of the female section in all areas through distinct consultant legal framework taking into consideration genuine values to achieve the administration aspirations and objectives so as to reach an excellent standard of university performance.

Functions of the Unit

• It is in charge of the implementation of the civil service and the higher education rules and regulations in what the entire Dean refers to.
• It conducts investigations into administrative and financial irregularities.
• It prepares opinion and investigation memoranda and legal reports. Then, it submits them to the Dean.
• It conducts studies and makes videos and recommendations on various topics referred to it.
• It conducts studies and legal researches on the application of sanctions and disciplinary rules.
• It reviews exhibitions and sponsorships contracts that involve The Female Students' Campus. It coordinates with the Legal Department to ensure legality.
• It reviews the Standing Committee minutes to discipline students and to ensure regular content.
• It follows up the implementation of the recommendations contained in the opinion memoranda or the investigation of the unit that was carried out under the guidance of The Dean.
• It saves full-data files of investigations and legal studies.
• It makes sites tours to check irregularities.
